HSV 850 - Human Services Field Experience I
2 credits
The field experience is a program of supervised instruction in which the students are placed in a community human service agency to learn through actual services participation and observation in that setting. The experience provides a chance to apply the classroom learning experience to the field of work. In addition, the student has the opportunity to acquire many new skills and awareness of the helping profession. The student’s work place exposure assists the student to learn more of the profession and develop insights into the basic values of the social services career.
