Many people, faced with their own interests and standards, need reliable guidelines to address the moral implications of ethical & business decisions. This course offers a unique practical approach to learning business ethics and focuses on the relationships among various stakeholders, including individuals, groups, corporations, and nations. Students will study the latest research, current cases, and practical examples to examine the role of ethics in the contemporary business world. Outcomes include real-world ethical dilemmas encountered by managers, implementing a stakeholder analysis, and comprehensive coverage of employee workplace issues such as risk management, preferential hiring, corporate legitimacy, and moral accountability.
