Business graduates from four-year universities can expect work in all sectors of business, from small businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups to large Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies. Students can start their progression toward business career goals by completing a large part of their general education and core business courses at Iowa Central. In addition, the Business Department offers a wide range of business electives in accounting, business and web technology, and multimedia. Scholarships, field trips, state and national competitions, along with experienced business instructors help students succeed in today’s business world.
