ADN 407 - Clinical Practicum 3 2 credits This clinical course is a requirement with ADN 405 Maternal Child Health Care for the associate degree nursing program. This course provides an opportunity for students to apply Maternal-Child Health Care theory in the clinical setting with obstetrical, neonatal, and pediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on the nursing process and clinical judgement to plan holistic, comprehensive nursing care. The course will prepare the student with clinical knowledge and skills for entry level associate degree nursing practice. This course will also prepare the student for national examination for nursing licensure.
Prerequisites PNN 621 , PNN 622 , PSY 121 , BIO 151 , BIO 168 , BIO 173
