ART 204 - Art History II 3 credits This is an introductory course to the painting, sculpture, and architecture of the Western World from the Dawn of Individualism in the 14th century to the Contemporary period. Students will study the development of regional and personal styles, and the social contexts in which art objects have been created. This course provides a greater understanding of visual communication in the Western World, increases visual literacy, and promotes critical thinking, which can help the student reach professional goals in a variety of career fields.
