MAT 045 - Fundamentals of Math
4 credits
This course is a developmental mathematics course designed to increase ability in basic mathematics. The course includes the study of arithmetic operations on whole numbers, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers, percent’s, ratios, proportions, simple algebraic, and geometric concepts. This course will also help students gain mathematical literacy which will be of vital significance when making important life decisions. In addition, this course will help with any career that involves mathematics, decision making, or problem-solving. This course does not meet graduation credit requirements for certificate, diploma, general studies, or associate degree programs.
