Course Description: This course will provide students with experiences related to electric motors, motor, and relay logic in an industrial environment. Students will learn to apply ladder logic diagrams to install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors and motor control circuits. Students will learn how to troubleshoot direct and alternating current motors and their control circuits. Motor replacement requirements are covered along with the NEC as it applies to motor circuits. The critical thinking skill learned through trouble shooting will aid the student in better decision making in their daily life after graduation.
