MMS 120 - Media Practices I 3 Credits Total Lecture Hours: 15 Total Lab Hours: 30 Course Description: Media Practices I is an introductory course that looks at the inner workings of the broadcast industry. This hands-on course gives students a chance to work on audio and video projects, such as an air shift on the student-run, campus radio station, KICB, and sports and news broadcasts on the Iowa Central Triton Student Media YouTube channel. This course will help students gain confidence in creative and technical skills.
