Course Description:
This course encompasses a familiarity of general anatomy and physiology along with the fundamental in-depth study of head and neck anatomy. Instruction emphasizes peer interaction with dental nomenclature and the inspection of the head and neck and surrounding structures.

- The student will demonstrate familiarity in:
- General anatomy and physiology
- The student will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of head and neck anatomy.
- The student will identify structures of head and neck.
- The student will draw and explain head and neck anatomy.
- The student will discuss body systems and anatomical considerations for local anesthesia.
