DEA 934 - Internship Seminar 2 Credits Total Lecture Hours: 30 Course Description: This course provides the dental assistant student with an opportunity to share clinical experiences with peers and faculty. This course will also give the student an opportunity to develop a community project. This course helps students gain critical thinking skills which are essential to making important life, health, and career decisions.

Student Learning Outcomes and Objectives:
- The student will have opportunity to share in discussions about the clinical experiences, including any negatives and positives, with an exercise in journaling to reflect on the experience.
- The student will keep a reflection journal of the clinical experiences and the community service learning provided to the community.
- The student will research, plan, implement and evaluate a community project.
