AGV 146 - Large Animal Care Course Department: Science 3 Credits Total Lecture Hours: 30 Total Lab Hours: 30 Total Clinical Hours: 0 Course Description: Large Animal Care provides students with a background in large animal breeds and breed identification, large animal diseases, obstetrics, vaccination protocol, and disease prevention. Laboratory topics include large animal restraint, nursing procedures, anesthesiology, and surgical assisting. Experience is provided on live animals in a field setting.
