This course is one semester and is designed for students who are pursuing a diagnostic medical sonography degree; it will serve as a case-study approach for sonographic anatomy and pathology of structures and how they are interpreted by ultrasound. This course will enhance their overall knowledge
when making important life decisions

Course Objectives:
- Identify and evaluate anatomic structures during gynecological and vascular ultrasound and modality studies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of disease processes with application to sonographic and Doppler patterns in gynecological and vascular ultrasound and modality studies.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of image production and optimization in gynecological and vascular ultrasound
