Course Description:
This course is one semester and is designed for students who are pursuing a diagnostic medical sonography degree; it will serve as an advanced case-study approach for sonographic anatomy and pathology of structures and how they are interpreted by ultrasound. This course will enhance their overall knowledge when making important life decisions.

Student Learning Outcomes and Objectives:
- Identify and evaluate anatomic structures during high resolution and obstetrics ultrasound and modality studies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of disease processes with application to sonographic and Doppler patterns in high resolution and obstetrics ultrasound and modality studies.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of image production and optimization in high resolution and obstetrics ultrasound.
