The banking & finance profession is seeking highly motivated, dedicated and well-educated people. The field is especially attractive and fulfilling to those who have good problem-solving skills and enjoy working with people.

As part of the Accounting Associate Program, the Banking & Finance Diploma offers students the opportunity to enter the work force after completion, complete the Accounting Assistant Diploma, complete the entire Accounting Associate Degree and/or further their education.

The content-specific courses (Principles of Banking, Principles of Finance, Intro to Commercial Lending, and Intro to Investments) are offered as hybrid delivery courses. Microsoft Teams and/or other software will be utilized for teaching and learning.  Other courses may be taken face-to-face, hybrid, or online.

Software training will include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Pro, and Sage50, and 10-Key Mastery.

Possible Certifications and/or Proficiencies include:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • QuickBooks Pro
  • 10-Key Mastery
  • Banking and Finance Certifications (To Be Determined)
