Engineering, Transfer Major AS

The Engineering Transfer Major is an Associate of Arts Degree designed for students transferring to Iowa Regent Universities to study a variety of undergraduate majors; requirements may vary at other institutions. Students should become familiar with the specific course requirements of the four-year institution to which they plan to transfer. Students wanting to pursue this transfer major will have the opportunity to learn the necessary content and skills for upper-level classes at the transfer institution and to be successful in their desired field after graduation.

Other recommended courses: an engineering problems/graphics course is optional but highly recommended. The course may or may not be offered at Iowa Central Community College, but the course can be transferred in as an elective.

  • To graduate in four semesters, students must take an average of 15 transferable credits per semester.

  • Although an articulation agreement has been made with the institution(s) listed, students may transfer to another institution. Students must communicate with their Iowa Central advisor and their transfer institution when determining transferability.
