Nurse Aide (non-credit)

To prepare nursing assistants for working in nursing facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Background checks are required prior to any nurse aide course.

Course Comments: Completed and cleared background check (state law), physical, and 2 Step TB test required prior to 1st day of class. If not completed/cleared, you will not be allowed to attend class. Scrub outfit (any color/style) and gait belt required for clinical. Textbook, gait belt, and background check fee are included in the tuition cost.  
  
This can be an Integrated Educational Training class as well. With this structure, a navigator will be assigned to an individual to help support a student in the classroom with additional reading, math, ELL barriers, and workplace readiness skills.
