Now featuring expanded cybersecurity training
Opportunities are virtually endless when you have mastered technology. Are you looking for a training program that is in high demand and is expected to show continued growth in the future? Entry-level salaries in computer repair, networking, and cybersecurity roles now typically range from $45,000 to $65,000 a year, with strong potential for advancement. Job opportunities are growing dramatically with the expansion of the internet, cloud technologies, and global networking.
The Computer Networking Technology Program is designed to provide graduates with the necessary skills to succeed in the jobs of the future. Graduates are able to administer local area networks, install and troubleshoot communication hardware/software, integrate technologies that the business world demands, and apply essential cybersecurity practices to secure modern IT environments. The program prepares students for a complex telecommunications landscape where information security is a top priority.
Students learn to set up complete systems that facilitate information exchange between networks-while also learning how to secure those systems against internal and external threats. The program offers a balanced theoretical and hands-on approach to networking and cybersecurity. For every hour of theory, students receive two hours of lab time. Students gain real-world experience working in a student-managed datacenter that powers their classroom environment. They install networks, run cable, configure systems, implement security measures, and maintain infrastructure.
The program is available to students with varied backgrounds. Sign up now and get on the fast track to the many employment opportunities in design, configuration, installation, security, and maintenance of networks in both small and large companies.
