Computer Repair Diploma

The Computer Repair Diploma provides foundational training for entry-level IT support positions with starting salaries ranging from $35,000-$50,000. This one-year credential serves as the first year of the Computer Networking Technology AAS degree, allowing students to enter the workforce quickly or continue their education.

Students gain hands-on experience in hardware installation and troubleshooting, operating system configuration (Windows and Linux), network fundamentals, and cybersecurity basics. The program includes a Help Desk practicum where students provide real-world technical support in a simulated environment, developing critical customer service and problem-solving skills.

Coursework prepares students for industry-recognized certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+. Graduates are qualified for positions such as help desk technician, desktop support specialist, PC technician, and technical support representative.

Seamless transfer: All 31 credits apply directly toward the Computer Networking Technology AAS degree for students who wish to specialize in programming, cybersecurity, or network administration.
