DRA 101 - Introduction to Theatre 3 credits Introduction to Theatre is a survey course which offers an inside look at how theatre works-both from the audience and the performers perspectives. The overview includes the roles of the audience, the writers, the actors, the directors and the technicians-and how those roles have evolved over time. It is designed to develop in the student an understanding and appreciation of theatrical productions. Students will get a first-hand look at a production in progress and also have an opportunity to experience a taste of performance at the end of the semester in a team presentation.
