HSV 285 - Case Management: Intake to Discharge 3 credits This course is a building block for courses which students will take as they continue their education for employment in the Human Services field. Students will learn how to compile relevant information on clients and how to formulate this information into treatment plans and service plans. Students will learn the role of the case manager and the four essential functions of case management. Students will learn the importance of ethics and confidentiality as well as how to effectively communicate with their clients. Students will also become familiar with the various assessment tools and forms used to diagnose, develop plans, and make recommendations for levels of care.
