BPT 120 - Molecular and Cellular Biology 3 Credits Course Description: This is a study of the molecular structures and processes that underlie cellular functions. Topics include DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis, methods of isolation and purification of biological molecules, and relevant principles of microbiology, immunology, virology, and recombinant DNA technology. Offered alternating years during the fall semester. Three hours lecture.
