Course Description: This course will present the various materials used for residential exterior coverings. Topics will include insulated sheathing, house wraps, drainage planes, Siding, soffits, venting, windows and exterior doors. Emphasis will be on sustainable construction techniques. In addition, this course will help students gain valuable knowledge and skills related to construction, which can be used to obtain construction related jobs or utilized for personal home construction or repairs.
