DRA 132 - Acting II 3 credits Acting II works beyond the fundamentals of acting covered in Acting I. The focus shifts from the building blocks of acting technique to practical application in scene work. While there will be some advanced improvisational technique, the bulk of the course centers on vocal and physical interpretation of characters and to the staging choices students make in preparing and performing their scenes. Acting II helps students continue to build on their confidence in their communication and performance skills while also enabling them to think critically, consider the viewpoints of others, and effectively express themselves, all of which will benefit them in the classroom, in life, and in the workforce.
