MLT 120 - Urinalysis 3 credits This course is the study of the properties and constituents of urine and other body fluids. Emphasis is placed on theory and methodology of qualitative and quantitative analysis of urine. Constituent values are related to the physiology of the urinary system in health and disease. This course will help students gain scientific literacy vital to making important life decisions. This course will help students develop the hands-on and critical thinking skills needed to function as an entry-level medical laboratory technician and satisfies curriculum requirements of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences. This course will also help students gain scientific literacy vital to making important life decisions.
