MMS 190 - Broadcast Promotions 3 credits In this course, students will explore the marketing strategies program directors and general managers use to draw listeners to their stations. Topics to be discussed include target audience, research, format, image, promotions, sales, and contest strategies. Students will also apply what they learn to the campus radio station, during sports webcasts, and web TV newscasts. This course will also help students gain confidence in skills and ability which will be of key significance when making important life decisions.
