RAD 122 - Radiographic Procedures I 4 credits This course is one semester, students study positioning, and common procedures performed in the radiology department. This course is designed for students who are pursuing a radiologic technology degree. Procedures include upper and lower extremities, chest, and abdomen x-rays. A vital part of this course will be theory of exposure, radiation protection, and basic image critique. This course will help students gain the basic knowledge of radiographic positioning and will help provide entry-level skills related specifically to radiologic technologist’s job duties while enhancing their overall knowledge when making important life decisions.
Corequisites RAD 210 , RAD 320
Prerequisites HSC 113 and a college-level math course with a C or higher
Prerequisites/Corequisites HSC 104 , BIO 173
