RAD 850 - Radiation Protection & Biology 3 credits This is a one semester course which explores the history and biological effects of ionizing radiation. This course is designed for students who are pursuing a radiologic technology degree. Methods of radiation measurement detection and protection are discussed. This course will help students to gain knowledge radiation protection and biology and will help provide entry-level skills related specifically to radiologic technologist job duties while enhancing their overall knowledge when making important life decisions.
