MAP 325 - Examination Room Techniques II 5.5 credits This course expands on information presented in MAP 322 - Examination Room Techniques I , exploring more complex skills required for clinical practice as a medical assistant in an ambulatory healthcare setting. Emphasis is placed on medication administration, principles of electrocardiography, emergent care, and sterile procedures. The course encourages students to demonstrate critical thinking, and to incorporate knowledge gained into the performance of course competencies. This course is the second course of a two-semester sequence.
